Originally, all donations went into our School Sponsors fund and that is where the educator's sustainability fund will remain. However, to differentiate the funds provided for scholarships and the playground, we've create two additional campaigns.
We believe a family’s ability to pay should never determine a child’s access to meaningful early education.
Donor-funded scholarships allow us to:
Offer tuition assistance to families facing financial barriers
Maintain dignity and privacy in the support process
Build classrooms that reflect the diversity of our community
Each scholarship represents more than financial help — it is an invitation for a child to belong, to be known, and to grow in a calm, purposeful environment.
Opening doors to belonging, one child at a time.
Your gift provides tuition support so children can access calm, purposeful Montessori learning—regardless of a family’s financial circumstances.
KMA currently provides $3,000/month in discounts and credits to our families. This fund will help offset these and provide scholarships to families.
Current credits and discounts offered
Military, community heroes, sibling: 5% discounts are stackable
Employees receive 100% tuition discount: This is an initiative of our mission that our founder feels strongly about. However, to continue being one of the only schools in our area to offer this benefit, we will need financial support to continue it. Most daycare centers and private schools require employees to pay at least 50% of the tuition cost.
Children learn deeply through movement, nature, and hands-on care of their world.
Your support helps us create and sustain outdoor environments that include:
Natural playscapes built with wood, stone, and living elements
Gardening spaces where children plant, tend, and harvest
Outdoor work that encourages collaboration, responsibility, and wonder
These environments extend Montessori learning beyond the classroom, grounding children in real-life experiences and a respectful relationship with nature.
Growing independence, wonder, and connection through nature.
Support natural playscapes and gardens where children move, explore, tend living things, and learn through real outdoor work.
Montessori education depends on skilled, observant, and deeply committed guides.
As a nonprofit, we are actively working to bridge the wage gap that too often exists in early childhood education by:
Offering more competitive and sustainable wages
Supporting long-term educator retention
Honoring the professionalism and care this work requires
When educators are supported, children experience consistency, calm, and trust — the foundation of meaningful learning.
Supporting the adults who guide small hands and big growth.
Your contribution helps bridge the wage gap, sustain our educators, and ensure children experience consistency, care, and deeply rooted relationships.
