Welcome to Kindred Montessori Academy!

I want to personally thank you for considering KMA as the place where your child will learn, grow, and thrive. This journey is incredibly close to my heart—not only as an educator with over 13 years of experience but, more importantly, as a mother of three children who have each faced their own unique challenges within traditional learning environments.

My own kids, who learn in unique ways and have different needs, have struggled to find a place where they feel truly seen and supported. One of my children is gifted with dyslexia, another has dyslexia, and the third is a more traditional learner. Even in a public Montessori school, where I hoped they would flourish, the blend of rigid public school requirements and Montessori principles left them feeling frustrated, misunderstood, and unfulfilled. The system wasn’t built to nurture their individual strengths, and I couldn’t just stand by and watch.

So, I decided to create what I couldn’t find—a place where children of all learning styles and abilities are welcomed, respected, and empowered to reach their highest potential. Kindred Montessori Academy was born from my desire to provide a learning environment that truly embraces the uniqueness of every child. A place where strengths are celebrated, diversity is valued, and curiosity is nurtured every single day.

Our motto, “Kindling intelligence, nurturing diversity, reaching excellence daily,” reflects our unwavering commitment to meeting each child where they are and supporting them in becoming confident, compassionate, and capable individuals. Whether your child is gifted, neurodivergent, a traditional learner, or somewhere in between, they have a place here at KMA.

I know firsthand how hard it is to watch your child struggle within a system that doesn’t understand or value who they truly are. At KMA, we’re not just teaching academics. We’re helping children build the skills they need to navigate life with confidence, creativity, and compassion.
